He was born Jan. 13, 1921, in Sullivan County, to Emil Vern Mundell and Ida May Hamrick Mundell. He retired from Visqueen (Tredegar Corp.) He married Anni Gotha in 1947, and she preceded him in death in 2005.
He also was preceded in death by parents; and a brother, Earl V. Mundell.
