WAKARUSA—Leah W. Fink, 96, Elkhart Rt. 4, died Friday at 12:40 p.m. at the Elkhart Nursing Home. She had been there since last November. She was born in St. Joseph County, Madison Township, on Feb. 24, 1875. She was a member of the Osceola Mennonite Church. She had married Samuel J. Fink on June 4, 1916. He died on Apr. 11, 1951. Survivors include four stepchildren, Irvin Fink of Elkhart Rt. 4; Mrs. Alma Barkey of Mishawaka; Freeman Fink of Elkhart Rt. 1, and Harvey Fink of Elkhart Rt. 4.; a fifth step-child, Mrs. Merrill (Clara) Weaver died in 1965 in the Palm Sunday tornadoes. Also surviving are 15 step-grandchildren; 40 step-great-grandchildren and seven step-great-great-grandchildren. Services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Olive Mennonite church. Paul Hoover will officiate, assisted by Pastors Harold Kerider and Richard Hostetler. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lienhart Funeral Home in Wakarusa after noon today and until 2:30 p.m. Sunday at which time a prayer service will be conducted at the funeral home by Bishop D. A. Yoder. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Elkhart County Rehabilitation Center in Elkhart.
