∼Millville- Joseph E. Baca, Jr., 80, of Millville formerly of Uxbridge passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at home. He was the husband of the late Carolyn (White) Baca who died in 2013.
Mr. Baca owned and operated J.E. Baca Masonry in Uxbridge for many years.
He was born May 19, 1938 in Millville the son of the late Joseph E. and Mildred (Sweeney) Baca and attended Uxbridge High School.
Joe enjoyed gardening, camping, and traveling. He was also a lifelong member of the Uxbridge Rod and Gun Club and was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Woonsocket, RI.
He is survived by his children, Karen Creighton of Panama City, FL and Joseph Baca III and his wife Tammy of Uxbridge; step-sons, Scott Goulet of Millville and Gary Goulet of Webster; his siblings, Beverly Daignault of Harrisville, RI, Robert Baca of Thornville, TN, Marjorie Baca of Uxbridge, Richard Baca and his wife Lorraine of Baton Rouge, LA; Patricia Worrall and her husband Brian of Cumberland, RI and Cynthia Baca of Woonsocket, RI; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Stephen Baca and David Baca.
Visiting hours will be held Monday, January 7, 2019 from 9:30 – 11 AM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 N. Main St., Rte. 122, Uxbridge followed by a funeral service at 11 AM in the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Mendon St., Uxbridge.
