Dorothy Senger was born Sept. 11, 1901, in Hague, N.D., the daughter of Lawrence and Marian (Schweitzer) Senger. She was raised in her younger years in Hague.
Dorothy married Joseph S. Schneider in Strasburg in 1920. They farmed in the Strasburg area for several years before moving to Linton. After World War II, they moved to Bismarck in 1946. Dorothy resided in Bismarck until March of 2002 when she moved to Crystal to live with her son.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Wanda Schneider, Crystal, Minn.; one sister, Christine Schumaker, Bismarck; seven grandchildren, Gary, Danny, Randal, Sandra, Sharon, Richard and Cynthia; and two great-grandchildren, Eric and Sophia.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; and one son, Joseph.
