He married Rosemary Marie Leishman 17 Sep 1950, Alliance, Box Butte, Nebraska.
Kenny grew up on a farm near Wood River, Nebraska and graduated from Grand Island High School in 1947. He moved to Alliance, Box Butte, Nebraska to work on his cousin's ranch. After his marriage, he moved back to the Wood River area and started farming. In 1953 he began working part time for American Crystal Sugar Company in Grand Island, Nebraska. This eventually became a full time job and they moved to Drayton, North Dakota. Kenny retired from American Crystal Sugar Company on 1 Mar 1995. Kenneth was stricken with Parkinson's disease and was unable to work.
Kenny and Rosemary were members of the Drayton United Methodist Church.
