Bertha M. Miller of Cheboygan, died at Community Memorial Hospital Wednesday, July 12, 1989, where she was a patient in the Extended Care Unit. She was born on February 26, 1900 in Stoney Point, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Alfred and Theresa (Drouilard) Gignac. She married Archie Miller on February 19, 1919 (sp Feb. 10, 1920) at St. Charles Church in Cheboygan. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1972.
Survivors include sons Arthur "Chum", Richard, and Robert all of Cheboygan; daughter Mrs. Paul (Dorothy) Lindman of Cheboygan; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 is currently serving in the Marine Corps overseas; 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard "Rick" Miller on June 19, 1987.
Friends may call at the Christian Funeral Home today from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. A scripture wake service will also be held today at 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at St.Mary's-St.Charles Catholic Church. Burial will in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
