Jolene T. Hargis "Sis" Jolene T. Hargis, "Sis," age 85, loving mother and grandmother, passed away July 20, 2006 in West Valley City, Utah.
She was born March 12, 1921 in Huntsville, Utah to Ansil and Beatrice Evans. Jolene loved country music and sang with her band for many years. She was a member of the LDS Church. She also enjoyed bowling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Annette Price, Gary Gilbert, Charleen Burke (Bill), Bill Jr. (Linda), and Jeff Hargis; two brothers, Norman (Bev), and Jerry (Renee); 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, two sisters, and three brothers.
The family would like to thank the Rocky Mountain Care Center for their care and help they gave to Jolene.
Funeral services will be held July 26, 2006, 11 a.m. at the Redwood Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Road. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the mortuary.
