Eva Marie Thiesing, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away September 21, 2011. She was born July 14, 1918 in Lapel to the late Luther Bronson Day and Mary Schuman Day.

Eva graduated from Lapel High School and Indiana Business College. She worked as a bookkeeper for Shortridge High School from 1964 until 1972. Eva was a member of Wallace Street Church and volunteered at Community Hospital East. Eva truly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Eva is survived by her daughters, Sally A. Earl, Sheryl L. Holbrook and Susan K. Osborne-Igney; grandchildren, Debbie, Laura, Christa, Stephen, Matthew, Jonathan, Valerie, David and Sean; six great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert C. Thiesing; daughter, Sandra Sue Thiesing; and sister, Lola Harrison.

Services entrusted to Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel.
