Anna Elizabeth Sites, 80, of Franklin, W. Va., died Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Pendleton Manor in Franklin.
Mrs. Sites was born Sept. 23, 1927, in Masonville,(Grant County) W.Va., and was the daughter of the late Isaac Abraham Crites and Minnie Mabel Mitchell Crites.
She was a cook at New Frontier Restaurant and for the Pendleton County Committee on Aging. She was a member of the Smith Creek Church of the Brethren, where she was active in the Ladies' Aid.
On March 23, 1948, she married Warnie E. Sites, who preceded her in death Dec. 10, 1977.
Surviving are three daughters, Sandra Darlene Boore of Uniontown, Ohio, Sharon Ann Smith of Harrisonburg, and Diana K Thompson of Upper Tract, W.Va.; two sons, Dale Glenn Sites of Murfreesboro, Term., and Eston Lee Sites of Maysville, W.Va.; one foster son she raised, James Turner of Upper Tract, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren.
The Revs. Shyrl Smith and Glenn Sites will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Saturday at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, W. Va.
Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
