Merlin T. Phrondson(sic), 58, of 450 E. Reed Ave., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Edmund Olson will officiate with burial in Tisch Mills Cemetery.

Mr. Phrondson was born April 26, 1919, in Brown County, son of the late Peter and Mathilda Jergenson Phrondson. He married Sylvia LeBine Oct. 5, 1938 in Brown County and prior to his retirement was employed at Hamilton Industries, Two Rivers.

Survivors include his wife, three sons, Sherman, of Sanford, Mich., James, of Berwick Pa., and Roger, of Madison; a daughter, Mrs. Terry (Sandra) Sittman, of Manitowoc and 10 grandchildren.

Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, after 3 p.m. Friday and at the church after 11 a.m. Saturday until the time of service.
