Children: Sumner, Marjorie, and Rita
At the time of the 1920 census, Lawrence and Edith lived with Lawrence's parents on their farm in Perry Township, where Lawrence was a farm laborer.
Lawrence became a federal prohibition enforcement agent and died when he fell from the running board of a government vehicle while in pursuit of suspects driving a truck believed to be filled with liquor. He was struck by the rear wheel of the truck and killed. The truck was not actually carrying any alcohol and the driver was exonerated.
