Kara Rae Hansen, a lifetime resident of San Bernardino, died Saturday at home at the age of nine; the cause is unknown, pending a coroner's report. She attended Burbank Elementary School and Kids Zone Daycare and was survived by her mother, Kit Renee of San Bernardino, her father, Denman James of Redlands, two brothers, Daniel James of Redlands and Ryan Wayne of San Bernardino, her grandparents, Don and Nyla Braucher of Colton and Norman and Marjean of Helper, Utah. Emmerson-Barlett Memorial Chapel is handling the funeral arrangements. The family sugests donations to Kids Zone Daycare in San Bernardino.
