LONG BRANCH -- George A. Edwards, 82, of 495 Broadway died Saturday in the Florida Sanatorium and hospital, Orlando, Fla. He was a lifetime resident of Long Branch.
Mr. Edwards was the husband of the late Mrs. Alice Lane Edwards, and was a member of St. Luke's Methodist church, Long Branch.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Cora Nutt of Eatontown and Mrs. George Laid of Bethesda, Md., and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Paul A. Friedrich of St. Luke's Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood cemetery under the direction of the Flock funeral home.
