Mrs. Duke died Sunday, September 25, 2011 in a Tyler hospice facility.
She was born Aug. 18, 1958, in Jacksonville to the late Byron and Audrey Mae Kee Jarratt.
She was a dental assistant for the Texas prison system and attended the First Baptist Church in Mixon, Texas.
Survivors include two daughters, Melanie Duke, Good Springs, and Tammy Jo Duke, Dallas, her brother, Byron Jarratt, Austin, her sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Floyd Ashcraft, Troup, four grandchildren, Karie Oates, Alyssa Duke, Jaiden LaFriniere and Audrey Gates, her uncle, Vernon Kee, Arp, Texas, her aunt, Minnie Lee Clem, Troup, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Richard Fitch, Doug Edwards, Jose Merino, Wayne Clem, Rick Willard and Doc Simms.
