Also served with Co. G, 3rd Connecticut Volunteers. Enlisted: April 14, 1861 - Mustered out: August 12, 1861 - Fought in the 1st Battle of Bull Run, VA.

Suffered "heat stroke" while waiting to board "Arago" in Hilton Head, S.C.
