Walter Krueger, 80, of Newaygo, passed away Friday, April 22 at The Meadows nursing home in Fremont.
He was born August 22, 1902 at Kankakee, Ill. He married the former Rhea Ward in 1923 at White Cloud. He came to Newaygo in 1919.
Surviving are: his wife, Rhea, of Newaygo; six sons, Larry of Newaygo, Church of White Cloud, Bob of White Cloud, Chris of Muskegon, Walter of Oregon, Ill. and Al of Oregon, Ill; five daughters, Barbara Barber of Newaygo, Sally Kaether of Illinois, Dianetta Gillette of Newaygo, Jeanne Schroeder of Montana and Donna Barnhart of Mt. Morris, Ill; 39 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday April 25 at the Crandell Funeral Home in White Cloud with the Rev. Arnold Guikema of the Big Prairie Community Church officiating. Interment in Big Prairie Cemetery.
