Henry Lee Factor was born February 24, 1885 in Mead, Indian Territory (Bryan County), now Oklahoma.

He married Mamie Coplin, who was born September 1, 1893 in Arkansas.

The 1910 Federal Census for Durant Ward 4, Oklahoma (Bryan County) shows Henry Factor, a native American Chickasaw Indian and a nursery laborer, age 24, born in Oklahoma; and his wife, Mamie Factor, age 16, born in Arkansas. Living with them was one child, Clarence Douglas Factor, a native American Chickasaw Indian, age 1, born in Oklahoma; as well as Mamie's mother, Sallie Coplin, a widow, age 50, born in Alabama.

Henry and Mamie ultimately would have five children: Clarence Douglas Factor (1908-1998); Lee Lonnie Factor (1912-19967); Lawrence Factor; Billy Leon Factor (1914-1977); and Helen B. Factor (1921-1999).

The World War I Draft Registration Cards show that Henry Factor registered for the draft on June 5, 1917 in Durant, Oklahoma (Bryan County). He gave his name, his race as Chickasaw Indian; his birthdate as February 24, 1888; his age as 29; his birthplace as Mead, Oklahoma (Bryan County); his occupation as laborer in the Durant Nursery; his marital status as a wife and three children; and he stated that he had six years of prior military service as a Corporal in the State Militia in Durant, Oklahoma.

The 1920 Federal Census for Durant Ward 4, Oklahoma (Bryan County) shows Henry Factor, a native American Chickasaw Indian and a nursery laborer, age 35, born in Oklahoma; and his wife, Mamie Factor, a nursery laborer, age 25, born in Arkansas. Living with them were three children: Douglas Factor, age 11; born in Oklahoma; Lonnie Factor, age 8; and Lawrence Factor, age 6; all born in Oklahoma; as well as Mamie's mother, Sallie Coplin, a widow, age 61, born in Alabama.

Henry died December 27, 1927 in Bryan County, Oklahoma and was buried there in Durant in the Highland Cemetery.

Mamie subsequently married James Burl Roberson who was born October 6, 1880 in Hugo, Oklahoma (Choctaw County). Mamie died March 14, 1968 in Oklahoma and was buried in Durant in the Highland Cemetery near her husband, Henry. Her tombstone shows the name of Mamie Factor.
