Frank played baseball for the "Rochester Superiors" between 1912 and 1919 and the "Saturday Evening Posts" formerly the "Lazarus Cubs. He also played basketball for the Bausch & Lomb Team of the Rochester City Basketball League.
Frank started working at Bausch & Lomb Optical Company in October of 1912 at the age of 16 as an errand boy and worked his way up to Production Manager retiring on March 17, 1964. He met Louise Frances Hemmer while working at Bausch & Lomb. They were married on August 26, 1924 in (Old) St. Andrew's Church in Rochester, New York. They had two daughters Jane and Shirley. They resided at 51 Lanvale Park in Irondequoit.
