Don J. Hardman, 53, of Orem, died of heart attack Thursday. Nov. 21. at Utah Valley Hospital.
He was born May 7, 1921 in Lindon to David George and Annette Parks Hardman. He married Mary Josephine Roundy on May 3, 1944 in Provo, and she died Oct. 30. 1963.
Mr. Hardman was a crane operator at Geneva Steel Plant. He had served in the Seabees during World War II. He was a member of the LDS Church and lived in the Orem 39th Ward.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marilyn) Jensen, Cedar City; Steven D. Hardman, Galen J. Hardman, Carl Roundy Hardman and Jolene Hardman, all of Orem; five grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters. Orland Hardman and Marraland Hardman, both of Klamath Falls, Ore.; George Hardman, Lindon; Mrs. Arthur (Delpha) Glover, Lehi; Mrs. Larry (Luretts) Oveross, Happy Camp, Calif.; Mrs. Leonard (Lola) Mitchell, Provo, and Mrs. Lee (Lillian) Parker, American Fork; a stepmother, Eda L. Hardman, Lindon; and a stepbrother, Marlin L. Dittmore, Provo.
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 25 in the Pleasant Grove Fourth Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
