Leo A Alfred, at his residence in Slidell, La. On Wednesday, October 21, 1987 at 5 o'clock a.m. at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Maggie Terrell Alfred. Also survived by 2 sons, Elton L. and Leo A. Alfred, Jr. of Stockston, CA.; 2 daughters, Cynthia A. Logan of Culver City, CA., Harriett A. Vandegrift of Arlington, VA.; brothers, Herman and John Alfred of Los Angeles, CA., Morris R. Alfred of Lacombe, La., Stanley, Adolph and Samuel Alfred of Slidell, La.; step-mother Eloise Alfred; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Thomas, Earl, and Climont Alfred; and 1 sister: Harriett Alfred. All churches of Slidell, La., Parsons Lodge No. 45 F & A.M., The Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters of New Orleans, La., retirees of Chrysler Corp. Michoud, relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at Hartzell Mount Zion United Methodist Church. Hwy. 190 East Friday. October 23, 1987 at 8 o'clock p.m. Rev. Randall Campbell officiating. Dismissal will be Saturday, October 24, 1987 at 11 o'clock a.m. from the above named church. Interment in Porter Cemetery. Arrangements Doyle Funeral Home. 2430 Fourth St. Slidell, La.
