Solomon Dugger , 90, of Unicoi, died at his home at 1 p.m. Monday following an extended illness. He was a native of Johnson County and formerly of Butler. He had lived in the Unicoi Community since 1941.
Mr. Dugger was a retired sawmill operator. He was a member of the Sugar Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Susan Dugger of the home; two daughters Lilly Eliza, and Myrtle of the home; two sons, Harry Dugger of Butler and Boyd Dugger of the home; one stepson, David Bowman; one stepdaughter Mrs. Mandy Crosswhite of Mississippi; twenty-one grandchildren and a number of great and great-great grandchildren survive.
Tetrick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

(I was told by Lillie that her middle name was Berthena from her grandmother Sarah Berthena)
