John Willie Nigreville, Jr. is my Dad. He was born on 1-14-30 and raised in Zwolle and Pineville, Louisiana. He married my Mother, Mary Elizabeth Horner, in 1950.

I was born in 1952 while he was in the Air Force and stationed in England. They had two more children before divorcing in 1962. He had four more wives (and one more child) before he passed, unexpectantly, on 7-26-03.

They divorced in 1962 when I was age 10. We seldom saw or heard from him after that. I was sad that I didn't have a father in my life, as were my younger brother and sister. I do have a few fond childhood memories of him before they divorced. One was of him playing the guitar and singing "you are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy, when skies are blue." :)

When I was in my early 30's we connected again and I went to Pineville, LA to see him and all of the rest of my family on his side! It was wonderful to suddenly have family after having none my entire life!

I guess all good things must eventually end though ... I still don't know why to this day, but after he passed my relationship with his family ended -- no one would tell me why. I can only assume that it was due to greed (not on my part) and misunderstandings, as well as lies. Sad ... I not only lost him but my family on his side as well.

I love and miss you Daddy!

Love,
Patricia
