Last rites paid James Cline

Services for James C. Cline, 76, who died Jan. 27 [28] in St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, were held in the Tonto Basin School Saturday. Burial was in the Cline Cemetery.

Mr. Cline, a native of Tonto Basin, had lived in the area most of his life. He was a former lion hunter, cattle rancher and deputy sheriff in the Payson area.

Surviving are his wife, Martha; three sons, Roy and Frank of Globe and Kenneth of Tonto Basin; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Jensen of Globe; a brother, George of Tonto Basin; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
