Kenneth Perry Allen, son of Lawrence and Rebecca Allen, was born in Exline, Iowa, November 17, 1914, and departed this life April 4, 1960, after a brief illness. He was at the time of his death 45 years, 4 months and 17 days of age. He received his education in Exline, Iowa and in Lemons, Mo. with his interest and life's desire directed toward farming. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helen Allen; a daughter and son in law, Rebecca Ann and Harry Drummond of Green Castle; one son Kenneth Eugene Allen; 3 brothers; Clifford Walter of Rock Island, Ill., Jerome and Donald C. Allen; also his mother, Mrs. Rebecca Allen. The funeral was conducted by The Husted Funeral Home with Ronald Henwood as the officiating minister. The body was tenderly laid to rest in the Friendship cemetery.
