Funeral services for Roy J. Brown, 57, 219 E. Seventh, who died Sunday at Ball Hospital after a three-year illness, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Parson Mortuary.
Mr. Brown came to New Castle from Kentucky when he was 18 and founded the Brown Cabinet Co. at New Castle.
He is survived by his wife, Lora Helm Brown; a son, Rick Brown, Muncie; a brother, Nunn Brown, Indianapolis; and two sisters, Mrs. Marie Hammond, New Castle, and Mrs. Mae Coffey, Indianapolis.
Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and prior to services Wednesday.
