Lonnie was the maverick of his family. He lost his arm (probably as a teen) in a wheat or grain binder and generally afterward made his living as a gambler and poker player. His marriage to Cecil Ellora Wilson in 1918 produced one daughter, Lilly Wynona. In 1930 Lonnie operated a cafe out of Cheyenne OK near where his siblings lived. Cecil divorced Lonnie in 1933.
