Wilda Flora Barnhart, 84, of Boones Mill, died Monday, March 29, 1993, at Franklin Healthcare Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley J. Barnhart. Mrs. Barnhart was a former employee of S. H. Heironimus, and was a member of the Boones Mill Church of the Brethren. Surviving are her children, Tommy and Donna Barnhart, and grandson, Matthew, Ann and Ronnie Minnix, and grandchildren, Jason and Courtney, Judy Bowles and grandchildren, Rodney and Janice Bowles, all of Boones Mill, Marie and Buddy Lotts, and grandchildren, Teresa Howett, Jeff Cooper, and Penny Wingfield, all of Roanoke; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bently and Nadine Flora, Galen and Rada Flora, all of Boones Mill; three sisters, Novella Dudley, Jewell Ferguson, Bernice Woodford, all of Roanoke; four sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Annie Wright, Sallie Howell, Bertha Barnhart, Sylvia and Paul LaPrade, all of Boones Mill; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at the Boones Mill Church of the Brethren, 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Robert A. Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials be made to the Building Fund of the Boones Mill Church of the Brethren, Route 2, Boones Mill, Va. 24065. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main St., Rocky Mount.
