Robert F. Hoffman, 84, of Sayreville died Tuesday June 30, 2009 at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Menlo Park. Born in South Amboy he lived in Sayreville since 1951. Before retiring in 1977 he was employed in the photo products division of E.I. DuPont Co. Parlin for 30 years. He was a member of the DuPont 25 year club. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Our Lady of Victories R.C. Church, Sayreville.
He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Allen C. Hoffman and C. Howard Hoffman. Surviving are his wife, two sons and daughters in law, and 3 grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be offered on Monday July 6, 2009 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Victories Church 42 Main Street, Sayreville followed by interment of his cremated remains at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
