Abram Canfield Fisk was a cousin of Abraham C Fisk. After he served in the Fourth Michigan Infantry in the Civil War, Abram married 23 year old Agnes Akins, of Sturgis, Michigan, on August 28, 1864. Later he married Esther (Batterson) Remington. He used his middle name Canfield for less confusion. After his death, he was buried next to Agnes.

His parents were Joel Fisk (son of Nathan) and Sarah Crippen Fisk. It is believed that they are buried in Pulaski Jackson, Michigan. A son, Frank Ned Fisk, is buried in Colorado (Find-A-Grave memorial #60228680).

Family research provided by Abram's descendant, gravely interested, Find-A-Grave member #47914309.
