Robert M. Babbs, 57, of Taylorville, passed away Friday, February 16, 2007 at his residence. He was born October 5, 1949 in Taylorville, the son of Virgil D. and Helen R. MArtin Babbs. He was employed with the vehicle services division of the Secretary of State Office in Springfield.
Surviving are his brothers: Gene (wife Sue) Babbs of Taylorville, Ronald Babbs of Assumption, sister: Rita Dial of Assumption, 4 nephews & 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, February 21, 2007 in McClure Funeral Home in Taylorville with Rev Bill Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the funeral home on Wednesday.
