Jack L. Arment, 65, of 325 Conestoga Blvd., died Tuesday morning at home after a brief illness. Arment was a car salesman at Lancaster Toyota Mazda. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard. His memberships included Conestoga United Methodist Church, Travelers Protective Association and American Legion Post 185, Mount Joy. He was an avid golfer and a graduate of Penn Manor High School. Born in Conestoga, he was the son of Dorothy M. Campbell Arment of West Willow and the late Martin R. Arment. He would have been married 46 years on May 30 to Julia A. Groff Arment. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are a son, Guy L., husband of Cynthia S. Arment of Manheim; four grandchildren; three brothers, Martin R. Jr., husband of Barbara Arment of Conestoga, Chester S., husband of Hope Arment of Landisville, and Kelvin, husband of Jeanna Arment of Lancaster; and three sisters, Gwen, wife of Richard Brooks of Conestoga, Jean, wife of Harold Beck of Lancaster, and Sandra O'Dell of Califax, La.
