Betty M. Brown, 80, of Kansas City, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011. She was born Feb. 23, 1931 to Robert and Belva Martin. Betty was the President of the VFW Auxiliary 869, and President of the 2nd District of Kansas Auxiliary. She was also very active by her husband's side in the U.A.W. Local 710. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, and many aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband of almost 64 years, Dallas E. Brown Jr., daughter, Renee Peterson and husband James of Greely, CO, brother, Robert F. Martin Jr. of Texas, sister, Robella Watson of Raymore, MO, and many nieces and nephews.
