Born in Chicago, he was the son William and Joann (Adams) Haag Sr. He died in the McHenry Hospital Emergency room, due to injuries resulting from a boating accident. He had been a resident of Johnsburg almost all of his life.He received a degree in education from Illinois State University in 1976; was currently Dean of Students for District 12, Johnsburg School; and was working toward a Master's degree in Business Administration at Norther Illinois University. Survivors include his parents, siblings Kathleen, Patricia Robert and Michael; grandmother Mary Adams.
