Mrs. Emelia Luedtke, 88, 501 N Seventh Avenue, died last night at 11:30 o'clock at a local hospital after an illness of two weeks. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Cooperative funeral home and at 2 o'clock at Trinity Lutheran church. The Rev E H Bertermann will officiate and interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in the town of Maine. The body is at the funeral home.

Emelia Prechel was born January 13, 1857, in the town of Berlin and was married there in 1874 to William Luedtke, who died 12 years ago. Mrs. Luedtke was a resident of Wausau 27 years.

Surviving are three sons, William Luedtke Jr., 321 N Fourth Avenue, Ernest Luedtke, 510 N Sixth Avenue, and Otto Luedtke, 511 N Seventh Avenue, five daughters, Mrs. Otto Goetsch, 506 N Sixth Avenue, Mrs. William Mathwick, 923 N Second Avenue, Mrs. Walter Viegut 501 N Seventh Avenue, Mrs. Edwin Luedtke, town of Maine, and Mrs. Fred Neumann, town of Berlin; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Schrag, Pretty Prairie, Kan.; 41 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
