AUBURN CENTER RESIDENT PASSES AWAY AT TMH
Jennett Kiefer of Auburn Center, Meshoppen, RD 2, passed away Sunday, July 26, 1987, at Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock following a long illness. Born at Eynon, PA, October 15, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John and Carolina Bowen.
She has been employed by Meshoppen Manufacturing Co. for several years and also helped her husband on their family farm at Auburn Center.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Kiefer to whom she had been married for 46 years; a son, Glenn Jr. of Auburn Center; two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Mary Ann) Davies of Meshoppen and Mrs. Roy (Louise) Noble of Springville; three brothers; John Bowen, Stanley Bowen and Joseph Bowen all of East Rush; three sisters: Mrs. John (Mary) Koromlan of Meshoppen, Mrs. Walter (Ceilia) Wozniak of Moosic, PA and Mrs. Walter (Ann) Keeney of Northampton, PA; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, July 28 at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St., Meshoppen. Interment was in the Jersey Hill Cemetery.
