Lola R. Fritts, Tahlequah resident died Friday September 30, 2011 following a short battle with cancer which she fought bravely. She was 70 years of age. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 5, 2011 at the Hendricks Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hart Funeral Home. Lola was born February 10, 1941 in Tahlequah, the daughter of Arthur and Esther (Owens) McKinney. She was married to Robert "Bob" Fritts in Checotah, OK on November 3, 1963. Lola worked for several for Wal-Mart before having to retire due to health issues. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Claudie McKinney. She loved spending time with her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
