Philip Kefover was born in Middletown Maryland May 12 1789 son of Jacob and Anna Maria (Mary) Iseminger Kefauver (Kefover). Baptized at Lutheran Church Middletown MD.Jun 6 1789 as Philip Kiefaber. He came to Fayette Co. with his parents and siblings circa 1790. Siblings Jacob L. Keefover, Catherine Neal, Eva Isabella Griffin, John George Keefover, Elizabeth House Phillips Jaco, Susanna Slack, Margaret Louchery, Mary Matilda Humbert, Nancy Ann Numbers Moore, Hannah Linton, and Sarah Jane Hamilton. Philip's 1st wife Ophelia Elizabeth Luckey, children James, Thomas, John Morgan, Albert Gallatin, William, and Philip Kefover, Clarissa Hannah, Martha Hill, Mary Jane Malaby, and Margaret Sesler, 2nd wife Phoebe Harper no children, 3rd wife Delilah Bice 1 daughter Elizabeth Burner. Wives Ophelia and Phoebe and son John Morgan are also buried beside him, the headstones are missing. [email protected]
