Mrs. Minnie Krona of Ruthven died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 1983, at Palo Alto County Hospital. She was 90.
Services for Mrs. Krona were held Monday, Oct. 24, at 1:30 p.m. from the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Ruthven. The Rev. Garry Birth officiated.
Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery, Ruthven. The Martin-Bails Funeral Home in Ruthven was in charge of arrangements.
Casket bearers were James Aune, Bill Aune, Allen Colburn, Richard Colburn, Bruce Colburn and Steven Colburn.
Minnie Elise (Erickson) Krona was born Feb. 26, 1893, in Washburn, Wisc., the daughter of Emil and Maren (Anderson) Erickson. She graduated from nursing school in Minneapolis, Minn.
On March 25, 1911, Minnie and Ole Aune were married in Duluth, Minn. He preceded his wife in death. She was married to Edwin Krona on Sept. 17, 1966, in Roseville, Minn. He also preceded his wife in death.
Mrs. Krona had made her home in Duiuth since 1913. She worked as a nurse at Nopeming Sanatarium in Duluth for many years, retiring in 1960. For the last 10 years she had made her home in Ruthven, moving to that community in 1973.
Survivors include four children, Mrs. Martha Colburn of Ruthven, Edward Aune of Roseville, Minn., Mrs. Camille Lutzka of Duluth, Minn., and William Aune of Tucson, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Anne Johnson of Virginia Beach, Va.
Mrs. Krona was preceded in death by her husbands, Ole Aune and Edwin Krona; and a son, Einar Aune.
