HUDSON - Albert Bail, 66, of 542 Tiffin St., Hudson died Friday at Foote Hospital West in Jackson after a long illness.
He was born Jan. 25, 1912 in Hillsdale to Willard and Lucinda (Tremain) Bail. Mr. Bail lived most of his life in the Hudson area. He was married July 16, 1938 to Gertrude O. Wood at Auburn, Ind. She survives.
He retired from Metalloy Foundry in 1977 where he had been employed for 20 years and was a member of the Hudson Wesleyan Church.
Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Jean) Balis of Greenburg, Ind.; one son, Gary Bail of Jackson; one brother George Bail of Hudson; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, the Rev. David Bail in Aug. 1978, two brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Brown VanHemert Funeral Home in Hudson with the Rev. Paul R. Downey officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
