"Hobart C. Lull, 81, of Morris, for 18 years mayor of that village, died Sunday, October 31, at his home following an extended illness. He was born June 23, 1890 in Morris, a son of Clarence E. and Rose (Turner) Lull. He married Blanche M. Unger on August 7, 1909 at Morris. He was a retired mail carrier, having carried mail for 35 years from Mt. Upton to Morris. Earlier in his lifetime he was a farmer. He was mayor of Morris over an 18-year period and later worked in Gage's Store and more recently at the Morris Victory Market. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Morris. Surviving are his wife; a son, Ralph J. Lull of Morris; a sister, Mrs. Earl (Gladys) Butts, Oneonta; two grandsons, John Lull of Morris, and James Lull of Ossining; two granddaughters, Mrs. John Matteson, Morris, and Mrs. Howard Steler, Manhasset, L.
