Betty May McCann, born December 12, 1923 in Chicago, IL died on August 27, 2011 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. She lived in Florida for 30 years moving from Chicago, IL.

She served in the U.S. Army Air Corp for two years during World War II as a Secretary and achieved the rank of Corporal.

She recently was a member of the Vero Beach Air Force Sergeants Association as Vero Beach Flight Secretary. She was a member of and attended the First United Methodist Church in Vero Beach.

SERVICES: The Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 17, 2011 @ 10a at the First United Methodist Church in Vero Beach. Internment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
