~ A native of Cecilia, Louisiana and resident of Lafayette for over 65 years, Mrs. Zimmerman was co-owner of Zim's Alignment Service and a charter member of the Catholic Daughters Association.
~ She was preceded in death by her husband, Aurelien "Zim" Zimmerman, her parents Ledelle David, Sr. and Anna Angelle Dupuis, brother Ledelle David Dupuis, Jr. and daughter-in-law Julie Jolet Zimmerman.
~ Survivors include her daughter, Delores Anna Zimmerman; five sons, Howard Keith Zimmerman, Guy Brendan Zimmerman and his wife Jill, Todd Aurelien Zimmerman, David Brian Zimmerman and his wife Pam and Mark Louis Zimmerman; her grandchildren, Paul Jude Zimmerman, Tiffany Zimmerman Burt and her husband Steve, Jake David Zimmerman, Lacey Nicole Zimmerman, and Zachary Ryan Zimmerman; four great grandchildren, Brittany, Brandy, Brook and Bailey Burt; one sister-in-law, Madge Zimmerman LeBlanc; and her wonderful companion and help for 44 years, Maudrice Noel Jolivette.
