Adolph Carl Lippert, 78, of 3615 MacArthur Dr., Manitowoc, died Friday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, with the Rev. Armin Roekle officiating and burial in Evergreen Cemeterty, Manitowoc.
He was born Aug. 16, 1883, in the Town of Liberty, son of the late Louis and Mary Kieselhorst Lippert. He married Ann Weyhausen (sic) Feb. 6, 1909, in the Town of Liberty. He was a painter for Huebner Corp. for many years. The family resided at Brillion prior to moving to Manitowoc.
Among survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Alois Buretta of Manitowoc and Mrs. Myron Zeamer of DePere: four brothers, Fred of Manitowoc, Herman and Meinhold of Valders and Edmund of Tucson, Ariz, a sister, Mrs. Sofie Pluess of Manitowoc and four grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Mantiowoc, and until 10:30 a.m. Monday when the casket will be moved to the church and the body lie in state until time of services.
