Arthur L. Lawson, 66, of Lodi, died May 25 at his home. He was born on Aug. 2, 1930 in Laclede, Mo., and moved to Lodi in 1995 from Santa Rosa.
Mr. Lawson served in the U.S. Navy from 1947 to 1986, including the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, boating and camping, and was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church.
Following his discharge from the Navy, he worked and retired as an apartment manager with Young America Homes.
Mr. Lawson is survived by his wife of 21 years, Lila Lawson of Lodi; a son, Jeffrey Lawson of Florida; a step-son, Don Ort of South Carolina; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service is at 1 p.m. Monday in Cherokee Memorial Park with Fr. Murty Fahy of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Chaplain Harold Klein and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Lodi Post No. 1968 officiating.
Visitation is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home.
