Betty Jo (Clapp) Jordan 73, of Brookport, September, 18, 2011.
Betty was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. She most recently worshipped at Faith Center of Paducah.
Betty was born June 2, 1938 to Harley Davis and Buelah (Swinford) Davis of Brookport, who preceded her in death.
From the age of 16 she worked in the medical field, tirelessly helping and caring for the elderly. She devoted herself to her four children who she raised with unconditional love and support.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her first husband and father of her children, Franklin D. Roosevelt Clapp; by her son, Ronnie Lee Clapp; and her brother Kenneth Davis.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Orville "Jesse" Jordan; children; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and brothers.
Funeral services will be at Brookport Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011 at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow in the Pell Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday Sept. 20, 2011 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Brookport Chapel.
