Funeral services for Alta Mae Baker, 90, of Cullman were Thursday, May 29, 2003 at Moss-Service Chapel, the Rev. Troy Cleghorn and Rev. Wayne Williams officiating, with burial in Addington Chapel Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Baker died Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born in Texas on August 17, 1912 to John Monroe and Minnie Graves Pearson. She was a homemaker and a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Baker; two grandsons, Byron Heatherly and Jonathan Davis; and her parents.
Survivors include three daughters, Ruth (Shirley) Heatherly, Carolyn (Blair) Davis and Laura (Al) Hitt; five grandchildren, Rowland Heatherly, Ann Mayo, Kelvin Heatherly, Chris Self and Jessica Davis; two step-grandchildren, Tami and Angela Hitt; and seven great-grandchildren, Jamie Barnett, Melissa Mayo, Derek Heatherly, Brian Hollis, Kelsey Heatherly, Nick Heatherly and Jonathan McClusky.
