Edgar L. Bruso Dies in West

Edgar L. Bruso, 79, former manager of the American Express office in Decatur, died early Monday in San Diego, Calif., where he had made his home for the last 19 years, according to word received yesterday by his daughter, Mrs. J. K. Flint of Forsyth.

Mr. Bruso was a Decatur resident for about 30 years, moving to San Diego about 1928. He had been in business there with a son, L. Philip Bruso, former manager of the Decatur chapter of the American Red Cross.

Mr. Bruso was born Jan. 2, 1868 in Buffalo, N. Y., the son of Louis and Delia Bruso. He was married to Bessie McNamee, who preceded him in death in 1929. He was a member of the First Congregational church of Decatur.

He leaves three sons, L. P. Bruso of San Diego, Wallace of Des Moines, Iowa, and E. B. Bruso of Pittsburgh, Pa., and one daughter, Mrs. J. K. Flint of Forsyth. One son, Lawrence, preceded him in death. He leaves six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in San Diego Wednesday.
