John P. Eberz, 84, of Syracuse, died September 20 at Community General Hospital in Syracuse. John retired from Carrier Corporation where he was a physicist. He graduated from Syracuse University. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. He was predeceased by his brothers, Andrew, Albert, George and Robert; his parents, Andrew and Rosa... He is survived by several nieces and nephews - Ann Burlingame, Alison Cranson, George Eberz, Jr., William Eberz, John Eberz, Susan Emery and Nancy Boltwood. Services are private. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
Jack lived in Syracuse all his life. He took care of his mother and father in their later years and his nieces/nephews loved visiting with him - he was a kind and gentle man.He loved fishing and often went with his brother Bob to the lakes in the area to do so.
