Bugg married Sarah Jane White on December 28, 1873, in Callaway Co., MO, and they had their first child, Dewitt Clinton Bugg, Laura and H. T. 's halfbrother -- followed by 1 halfsister and 3 more halfbrothers.
Laura married Pliny Keen Abbott on July 28, 1891 in Canadian, Oklahoma, according to the Oklahoma Marriage Index. Their children were G. K. Abbott, born in 1892; Edith Abbott, born in 1895, and an infant who was born and who passed away in 1899. Laura and Pliny must have been divorced sometime between 1899 and 1908, because Pliny Abbott married his 2nd wife, Mrs. Nellie J. Harris, on Sept. 23, 1908, in Kansas City, Missouri, according to the Jackson Co. Missouri Marriage Records. I have not found record of the divorce.
Laura died January 7, 1950, in Kingfisher Co., Oklahoma.
