A memorial service for Mr. Thomas Talmadge Parsons, 67, of Anniston, was held on Monday, September 12, 2011, at Grace Episcopal Church with the Reverend Lee Shafer officiating. Mr. Parsons passed away on Friday, September 9, 2011, at his home. A native of Bessemer, Alabama, Mr. Parsons was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and had been an Eagle Scout. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Margaret Parsons; and by a sister and a brother. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Holt Parsons; daughter, Melissa Parsons Lamm and her husband, Carson; son Miles Gregory Parsons and his wife, Christy; grandchildren, Thomas David Lamm, Katherine Bishop Lamm, and Katherine Hayes Parsons.

Tommy Parsons was also a charter brother of the Sigma Club fraternity at Alabama College (University of Montevallo) and was an active member of the Sigma Club Alumni Association. A beloved brother, Moose always brought his culinary skills to the group's annual reunion at Blue Water Bay near Destin, Florida. His easy smile and unselfish dedication to his brothers will long be remembered. We love you, Moose. BUIB and NJAPF
